About Us

National Institute of Technology Delhi (NITD) is one of the thirty one NIT (s) established in the year 2010 by an Act of Parliament. The Institute has been declared as an Institute of National importance. NIT Delhi is an autonomous Institute which functions under the aegis of Ministry of Education, Government of India. It aims to provide instructions and research facilities in various disciplines of Engineering, Science and Technology, Management, Social Sciences and Humanities for advance learning and dissemination of knowledge. MISSION: Application of Knowledge through learning and inculcating Research Oriented mindset towards Design and Innovative Development for Realistic Societal Solutions. Eligibility Criteria:

Additional Exams/Criteria: (I) Passed Senior Secondary (10+2) 12th with 75% marks in aggregate or above or equivalent CGPA OR Passed Senior Secondary (10+2) 12th with minimum 60 % marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA with valid JEE Mains Score / SAT Score with minimum 50 percentile. AND (II) Applicant should have completed Mathematics, Physics, and one of the subjects from (Chemistry, Bio-Technology, Computer Science) in 11th and / or 12th, as applicable in respective boards). (III) Proficiency in English Language: The candidate must have studied English as a language subject at 10th and 12th (10+2) level. OR The candidate must have qualified IELTS examination with 6.0 Band or above or an equivalent PTE Score. OR The candidate must have qualified GRE / TOEFL examination with a valid score.
