About Us
Godavari Institute of Engineering & Technology (GIET) is an autonomous institution, accredited by NAAC ‘A+’ Grade (CGPA 3.37 out of 4 ). GIET is also recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under Section 2(f) and 12B of the UGC Act. GIET is permanently affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada (JNTUK). GIET ranked in NIRF India Rankings 2019 Overall (Rank-band: 151-200, NIRF India Rankings 2020 Engineering (Rank-band: 251-300) and NIRF India Rankings 2021 Engineering (Rank-band: 201-250). University Grants Commission (UGC) has approved GIET under the scheme of ‘Paramarsh’ for mentoring NAAC Accreditation Aspirant Institutions to promote Quality Assurance in Higher Education. The Govt. of A.P. has also recognized GIET under the ‘A’ category.
