About Us
Kongunadu Arts and Science College started in the year 1973-74, has grown tremendously in academic stature and is now offering 18 UG and 14 PG courses. The college has been Re-accredited with “A” Grade-3.64 CGPA out of 4 by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) in the 3rd Cycle.Recognizing the quality of Teaching imparted in this college, the University Grants Commission (UGC) awarded the status of “College with Potential for Excellence” (CPE) to the college in the year 2011. Autonomy which was granted to the college in the year 2004 has been extended by the UGC upto 2021-2022. The Library and Information Centre in the College has a vast collection of books, e-books and e-journals with fully computerised digital catalog.
