The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Guwahati, is one of the premier institutes established under the aegis of the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Government of India. It is part of the network of NIPERs envisioned to build human resource capacity for India's growing pharmaceutical sector. This Institute is situated in the vibrant North-Eastern region of India. NIPER Guwahati operates from its permanent campus at Changsari, Assam, close to Guwahati city, offering a serene academic environment amid natural surroundings.
