Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan, is a Deemed to be University declared under Section 3 of the UGC Act., 1956, India. All the programmes have been approved and recognized by respective statutory councils of India. SOA has been granted with Category-I Graded Autonomy Status by University Grants Commission, India. It has been re-accredited with ‘A++’ Grade by NAAC. SOA has been continuously ranked within TOP 25 Universities in India in all editions of NIRF INdia Rankings since its inception. SOA has been ranked as 14th Best University in India in the year 2024 by NIRF India Rankings, Govt. of India. SOA has been internationally ranked by QS & THE World University Rankings.

Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan presently provides superlative research environment to its faculty members and students and encourages innovation on campus. It has a proven track record of quality research activities of the highest level. The university presently houses of 19 Advanced Research Centres on campus and has 60 specialized R&D labs. The Institute is working across 27 research thrust areas which are aligned with the national priorities and are also emerging in nature.
