About Us
Theivanai Ammal College for Women (Autonomous), established in 1989 in Villupuram by Thiru E. Swamikkannu, aims to empower women through quality education. Affiliated to Annamalai University, it offers 17 UG, 9 PG, 8 M.Phil, and 8 Ph.D. programs across disciplines. The college holds UGC 2(f) & 12(B) status, autonomous recognition, and NAAC 'A' grade accreditation. Under the leadership of Secretary Mr. S. Senthilkumar, it aligns with NEP 2020 and national initiatives like AICTE-IIC, UBA, and NAD. With 98% pass rates, the institution emphasizes research and innovation, holding 13 patents and securing various government grants. Collaborations span 46 MoUs globally and nationally. The 10-acre campus features modern facilities, ICT-enabled classrooms, advanced labs, and eco-friendly practices. Student support includes scholarships, mentoring, and extensive transport. With strong alumni ties and active NSS, NCC, and cultural programs, the college contributes significantly to community development and envisions becoming a globally recognized Women’s University.
