About Us
The University was established in 2013, vide Uttaranchal University Act, 2012 (Uttarakhand Act. No. 11 of 2013) as a Private University and is located in Dehradun, India. The University has been recognized by the UGC, under Section 2(f) & 12 (B) of the UGC Act, 1956.
NAAC has awarded the prestigious grade “A+” and Uttaranchal University has become a unique & number one University in Uttarakhand which positions us among the top 5% HEIs of India, for the way we support our students on Curricular Aspects, Teaching -Learning Processes & Resources, Research & Innovations, Infrastructure, Governance, Student support and Best Practices.
The University has about 400 faculty members who have been recognized at National/International level for their research and teaching abilities.
