About Us
The Galgotias University, Uttar Pradesh, sponsored by Smt. Shakuntala Educational and Welfare Society, has been established by the State of Uttar Pradesh under section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956. The University commenced its operation in the academic session of 2011-12. The university has grown to more than 16000 students having International Students from 28 countries. University is a fastest-growing internationally recognized university having multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary education with a thrust on research and innovation. The University is placed in the Excellent Band by ARIIA-2021, granted with UGC-12B status, listed in 151-200 top universities of India, 177th in Engineering Category, top 100 for Pharmacy and Management in NIRF INDIA RANKINGS in the 2021
