Established by Amity University Rajasthan Act 2008, notified by Government notification No F.2 (10 ) vidhi/2, the university offers education in various streams as per global standards. Research Capability and Focus Area
The university is research focused, hosting 15 research centers of excellence, specialized in environment and Climate Change, Biotechnology, Industrial Microbiology, Health Sector, Renewables, Nanotechnology and Agriculture. We have more than 600 registered Ph. D students, with cumulative H index 60, and annually more than 200 publications in SCI indexed journals. On average 50 students receive PhD degrees per annum. The students also received patents and started their entrepreneurship journey through our university. University recently got a funding of 100 Million by DST (Department of Science & Technology, Govt of India) under PURSE (Promotion of University Research & Scientific Excellence). Departments ensure interactions of students with project fellows & scholars to enable them with latest information of the domain, students are attached with expert scholars to execute their term papers & projects.
Academic Facilities
University has designed need-based programs for which suitable credits have been clustered in form of various programs, choice-based credit system & value added courses have also been kept on priority by aiming holistic development of the students.
