Founded in 1982, SKUAST-Kashmir has risen to become India's 10th best state agricultural university and the leading innovator in its class. Nestled amidst the majestic Himalayas, it serves the unique needs of the region's agriculture, encompassing both temperate Kashmir and arid Ladakh. Beyond its traditional mandates of teaching, research, and extension, SKUAST-Kashmir champions innovation and entrepreneurship.
