Dibrugarh University, located in upper Assam, India, was established in 1965 consequent upon the provisions of the Dibrugarh University Act, 1965, enacted by the Assam Legislative Assembly. It is a leading research and innovation-driven University. The University promotes creativity, theorising, and reflection with a thrust on industry and perseverance. Dibrugarh University seeks educational excellence with a focus on multi-disciplinary research. It upholds studies that consider the cultural diversity of the region as well as fosters ideas and innovation that bear a global outlook. It upholds internationalization at all levels including syllabi, student profile and overall outlook. Dibrugarh University offers several courses at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctorate levels.
