About Us
M E S Keveeyam College was established in 1981 under the aegis of Muslim Educational Society (MES), which is one of the largest educational agencies in India. The college is a government aided institution, affiliated to the University of Calicut and included under 2(f) and 12(b) of the UGC act. The college offers 11 UG, six PG and two PhD programmes. The college maintains a positive academic atmosphere for intellectual pursuits that has consistently been rewarded with excellence in curricular and co-curricular endeavours. The college is accredited by NAAC with ‘A’ grade (CGPA 3.28) in 2015. The DST has sanctioned Rs.80 lakh under the FIST scheme in 2015 for augmentation of research facilities. The college was ranked 51 in the NIRF ranking of colleges by MoE in 2017. Since then, our college has become a partner institution of the flagship programmes of MoE. In 2018, Rs. 2 crore was sanctioned for infrastructure development of the college under RUSA. Our college was selected as a mentor institution by UGC under PARAMARSH scheme for mentoring non-accredited colleges. The college also got ISO 9001:2015 certification in 2019. College has got 3.5 star rating for the Institution Innovation Council in 2020.
