AyyaNadar JanakiAmmal College, Sivakasi, an autonomous institution, affiliated to the Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai was established in the year 1963 by the munificence of Thiru. P. AyyaNadar and Thirumathi. A. JanakiAmmal in the Industrial town of Sivakasi, popularly known as "Little Japan" situated on the outskirts of Sivakasi town on a sprawling 157 acres. This premier institution today serves as a beacon light in the horizon of higher education in India. The College has been consistently awarded with higher grades by NAAC in the accreditation and reaccreditation process. Five star grade in the First accreditation, A+ in the second accreditation and recently A grade with a CGPA of 3.67 out of 4 in third accreditation.
