About Us

The institute was established by a group of pharmacy teachers in the year 2002 under Raghavendra Educational and Rural Development Society (RERDS) with Reg. No.198 /2001. RIPER started in the year 2002 with Bachelor of Pharmacy followed by Diploma of Pharmacy and has attained enormous growth by offering Master of Pharmacy (M. Pharm) in Ph. Analysis, Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, Pharmacy Practice, Industrial Pharmacy, Ph. Quality Assurance and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D). We also offer Pharm. D & Pharm. D (Post Baccalaureate). The institute conferred with Autonomous Status and accorded to the 2 (f) and 12 (B) as per University Grants Commission (UGC). The college is accredited by NBA, New Delhi for UG ad NAAC With "A" Grade,Our institute continuously ranked under NIRF, 55th Rank 2021.

Area of Excellence

we have excelled in the area of drug discovery for drug resistant tuberculosis (in collaboration with ICMR-NIRT); analytical method; preclinical Development of drug testing methods for formulation

Research Capability and Focus Area

Facilities can support Drug discovery focused on Cancer, MDR-TB, Neuropharmacology, Malaria, Cardiovascular research, Formulation research Nano-science Preclinical research, Natural product research.
