The Karpagam Academy of Higher Education (KAHE) is a deemed to be a University established under Section 3 of the UGC Act 1956 in 2008 as approved by the Ministry of Human Resource and Development, Government of India, University Grants Commission (UGC), All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Council of Architecture, and Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). KAHE is a unitary private self-financing Deemed to be University located in a serene environment with the sparkling, lush green campus in Coimbatore District of Tamil Nadu, India.
Area of Excellence
The university has four faculties and hence naturally, a multidisciplinary campus having 12 specialty centers to support a research and development. The incubation centers supports Start-ups.
Research Capability and Focus Area
The research facilities such as Drug Testing Centre, Tribology Centre, Battery Research, Cancer Research, Alternative Fuels, Engines and Emissions, Material Science and Geo technical are established.

KAHE adopts CBCS with the highly qualified and experienced faculty members that include professors who are sustained in Stanford University’s top 2% scientist list. KAHE adopts participative learning.
The University has a central library and four supporting libraries connected with National Digital Library, Inflibnet, Delnet, Scopus and Knimbus. Also OPAC is in place for library access.
