About Us
Sacred Heart College (Autonomous), Kochi, established in 1944, is affiliated to MG University, Kerala. Since its origin, the college follows its core philosophy: holistic vision - harmony of the intellectual, physical and spiritual endeavors enshrined in its motto, cor rectum inquirit scientiam. The College is a Centre with Potential for Excellence under UGC. The College was accredited FIVE STAR in 2000, A+ in 2007 and A Grade in 2013 by NAAC. In the NIRF ranking, the college is ranked 55. 50 % of the faculty are PhD holders and have produced 204 international/national publications during the last 3 years including 84 Scopus indexed publication. The college library has 90000 books and 75 journals. The college has collaborations with Auckland University of Technology, Nihon Fukushi University, Concordia College, USA, Charles Darwin University, Toulouse University, and Juniata College, USA.
