About Us
Cambridge Institute of Technology(CIT) was established in the year 2007 under Umesh Education Trust, located at Krishnaraja Puram, Bengaluru. K.R. Puram popularly known as the main hub of Software industries of East Bengaluru. The institute is approved by AICTE, an Autonomous Institute affiliated to Visveswaraya Technological University Belagavi, accredited by NAAC with A+ grade, Four Under Graduate programs: Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Information Science and Engineering are accredited by NBA.CIT has also obtained NIRF Innovation ranking in the band of 101-150. CIT has bagged the prestigious project from MEITY(Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology )Govt. of India under C2S program worth 494 Lakhs. CCCIR is a Central Advanced Research Lab working in collaboration with premier Institutes to execute sponsored projects from ISRO, DRDO … worth 15 crores. Around 50 L worth consultancy projects are executed by the Institute in collaboration with industries and fortune 500 companies. Area of Excellence
The Institute offers 8 Undergraduate programs, 4 Postgraduate programs and is successfully implementing outcome based education.The Institute has established Centres of Excellence for skill development, Industries on Campus in collaboration with Samsung India, Synosys, EOS , RISC V Centre for providing Intensive training, Projects and Internship. Research Capability and Focus Area
The Institute has established eight research centres. It has established a central research and consultancy facility in the name of CCCIR with advanced research labs working on Cyber physical systems, Drone Technology, Nano satellites, Additive Manufacturing, Smart Materials. This central facility is working on sponsored projects from ISRO,DRDO, DST and Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology under Chip to start up programme.
