Welcome to Rungta College, a dynamic educational hub in Bhilai, Chhattisgarh. Established in 1999 under the visionary leadership of late Shri Ghanshyam Das ji Rungta, the institution has grown into a conglomerate featuring an Engineering College, two Pharmacy Colleges, and a Commerce and Science College. Expanding from a single college, Rungta offers a diverse range of engineering, pharmacy, commerce, management, and education programs across its 150-acre campus.
Honourable Shri Santosh Rungta, the Group Chairman, fuelled the transformation from a singular institution to a multifaceted educational hub. From its inception, Rungta College has been a preferred destination for students nationwide, known for its quality education, infrastructure, and industry-ready graduates.
Rungta College of Engineering & Technology (RCET) is affiliated with Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekananda Technical University (CSVTU) and holds approval from the All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). This affiliation and approval signify the college's commitment to maintaining the highest standards in its academic offerings.
RCET, the flagship institution, holds an A-grade accreditation from NAAC and approval from AICTE, offering BTech, MTech, MBA, and PhD programs. Recognised consistently among the top colleges in India, it ranks 25th among engineering colleges, 3rd in East Zone by India Today in 2023, and 1st in the state by Education World.
