About Us
Rungta College of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research, Bhilai, Chhattisgarh (affiliated to Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekananda Technical University, Bhilai) was established in 2006. The institute is running Diploma, UG, PG and Ph.D. Programs in Pharmacy and is accredited by NBA and NAAC, making it the only pharmacy institute in the state which ranked in MHRD NIRF. Recognized for its excellence, the institute has produced university toppers, GPAT qualified students and received the research grants of about 1.25 crores from the agencies like SERB, DST, ICMR, AICTE and CCOST. The faculty members have published more than 200 papers till date in various journals and has filed 05 patents.

The institute has state-of-art laboratories and CPCSEA registered animal house facility. Various research is being conducted in the field of behavioral neuropharmacology and polymeric drug delivery.

The College Campus has physical classrooms of varying sizes, each connected to central network and have audio-visual aids facilitating video conferencing and seamless online and offline teaching.
